Co-Curricular activities
In today’s fast-paced educational environment, co-curricular activities are vital for the holistic development of our students. Our offerings include games, sports, clubs, and scouting, featuring a variety of activities such as:
- Sports: Football, basketball, netball, handball, volleyball, archery, skating, ballet, taekwondo, table tennis, swimming, and gymnastics.
- Clubs: Coding, robotics, home science, scrabble, software pirates, chess, and science.
Our sports department is buzzing with energy, leading to thrilling competitions and remarkable achievements this year. From soccer matches that keep fans on the edge of their seats to track events showcasing extraordinary talent, we celebrate not just victories but the spirit of teamwork and perseverance.
Achievements in Sports

- Urafiki Carovana hosted the Nairobi mini-games, emerging first overall with 8 trophies in March.
- Our ball games teams reached the semi-finals in the Kasarani cluster ball games.

- Our swimming team participated in five galas, placing third overall in three, and fourth and fifth in the others.
- Two students qualified for international competitions: one in South Africa for swimming and another in Thailand for taekwondo.
- The school hosted a number of teams in friendly matches during the year..

- We organized a showcase day for parents and friends to see students’ progress.
Achievements in Clubs

- Our clubs foster creativity and logic, offering a platform for students to showcase talents and critical thinking.
- The chess club has produced top students representing Kenya internationally in Liberia and Egypt.
- The “Royal Knight” chess team frequently participates and wins in local championships.

- The drama club is working on a film production which will be available on our social media platforms soon.
- Our inaugural music festival, parent to the famous Tamasha, demonstrates our focus and determination.
- The drama club visited the Kenya National Theater for the second time.

- The environmental club and scouts ensure our environment is safe and clean.
- Scouts learn essential life skills through outdoor adventures and community service, fostering leadership and camaraderie.
- Scouts completed their third investiture and badge training after visiting their founding father’s grave in Nyeri. They are organizing their third camp in November (the first proficiency badge camp).

- Home science equips students with skills in cooking, mat making, and related areas.

- We held our cultural day where students showcased their abilities and skills.
