Greetings!!

As we close another school year, I want to take this moment to reflect on all the achievements and challenges that we have encountered along the way. The support and dedication from each one of us has been beyond expectations.

I am glad to witness all the steps that we have taken towards bringing our school vision BUILDING THE KINGDOM OF GOD” to life. Some of them include:

Charity events

  •  We contributed money and foodstuffs for the flood victims, Mater Heart Run, Talitha Kum Children’s home in Nyahururu and a visit to the elderly at Nyumba ya Wazee in Ruaraka.

Engagement

  • Continuous efforts are being made in building the Carovana community (one family) through engaging families and other stake holders in our daily life at school.

Our environment

  • We Take care of our environment by keeping it clean and beautiful right from the gate to the classrooms.

Nurturing talents

  • God wants the best out of each one of us. At Urafiki Carovana School we are striving to ensure that we bring out abilities and talents that our students are gifted with. We have been able to achieve significant progress in this through academics, games and sports and music.

Special needs Department

  • This year we have received more children in the department. As a school we believe that each person is unique and a gift from God. We are looking into making the department better in many areas in the coming year.

Student Growth

  • Bringing up our students holistically. Ensuring that they are making steps in every aspect of their growth (cognitively, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually).

As I conclude, the November/December holidays are here. It is my prayer that we shall go on with this desire to continue building the kingdom of God in our different engagements.

Let us help our young friends to use this opportunity of a long holiday granted to them with more awareness.

Wishing you and your family a safe and blessed Christmas break.

Yours Sincerely,

EMMAH MUNUKU
