2, SCIENCE PROJECTS

3, SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION (SNE) DEPARTMENT

Urafiki Carovana School emphasizes a variety of co-curricular activities aimed at fostering talent, teamwork, and personal growth among its students. These include:

  1. Cultural Activities: Events such as Cultural Day celebrate diversity and promote an understanding of different traditions through performances, displays, and interactive sessions

  2. Environmental Initiatives: Activities like Mazingira Day focus on environmental conservation and awareness, encouraging students to participate in green practices​

  3. Sports: Sports Day and other athletic events bring students, parents, and staff together for competitions and recreational games, promoting physical fitness and collaboration.

  4. Clubs
    Our club activities are as diverse as our students’ interests. Whether it’s coding in the ICT club, showcasing talent in the drama club, or advocating for environmental sustainability, every child finds a space to shine. Clubs provide a platform for leadership, creativity, and skill enhancement.

  5. Community and Leadership Programs: Workshops like parenting sessions for Grades 7 and 8 engage both students and families in discussions on critical developmental topics, such as adolescence​

SPIRITUAL LIFE: GUIDING HEARTS AND MINDS

  1. Weekly Mass

    Faith is central to our school’s identity. Weekly Mass brings our community together in worship, reflection, and gratitude, grounding students in values that guide their personal and academic lives.

  2. Pastoral Program Instruction (PPI)

    Through PPI, we teach life skills and moral values anchored in scripture. These sessions foster empathy, resilience, and ethical decision-making, helping our learners navigate life with integrity and compassion.

  3. Retreats

    Our retreats are transformative experiences where students step away from daily routines to reflect, connect with their faith, and grow spiritually. These moments of quiet reflection help cultivate self-awareness and a sense of purpose.

  4. Catechism

    For those preparing for sacraments, our catechism classes offer a deep dive into faith, fostering a profound understanding of Catholic teachings and traditions.
