A place to learn,
belong & become.
Every day at Urafiki Carovana School is a chance to grow in knowledge, faith, courage and friendship. Come and see what makes our school community special.
School life, full of possibility
From the classroom to the playing field, we create experiences that help each learner discover their strengths and make a difference.
Academics that help ideas take flight
Our Primary and Junior School learners follow Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), developing knowledge alongside the skills and values they need for a changing world.
We encourage children to question, investigate, collaborate and create—learning how to think, not what to think.
A Catholic culture with room to grow
Our Catholic identity shapes a welcoming community where prayer, compassion and service are part of everyday school life. Weekly Holy Mass gives learners and staff a shared time for reflection and worship.
Our school chaplain is also available for spiritual advice and guidance, offering a caring presence to members of our community.
Spelling Bee: confidence, one word at a time
Our internal Spelling Bee competitions make language learning lively, rewarding practice, courage and concentration in a supportive setting.
UCS learners also take part in external Spelling Bee tournaments, where they meet new challenges and proudly represent their school.
Science Fair & the Discovery Hub
At our annual Science Fair, learners turn curiosity into action—designing projects that explore ways to solve real societal problems.
The journey does not end on fair day: selected projects find a home in our Discovery Hub, where the school community can see young ideas at work and be inspired to ask what comes next.
Class trips with a purpose
Each class enjoys curated educational trips, planned to complement learning and give children new places, people and ideas to explore.
Organised for each class every term or year, these shared experiences help lessons come alive—and give learners plenty to talk about when they return.
Mentorship for boys & girls
Growing up brings new questions and experiences. Regular, age-appropriate mentorship talks give boys and girls space to build confidence, make thoughtful choices and understand themselves and others.
Sessions are facilitated by our school counselor and shaped to meet the needs of each class.
Sport & co-curricular life
Teamwork, discipline and the joy of trying your best—there are many ways for UCS learners to get involved.
Swimming
Learners build skill and confidence through swimming galas and government swimming competitions.
Fencing
We proudly hosted our first junior fencing tournament this year—a brilliant milestone for our young fencers.
Chess · Royal Knights
Our chess team, the Royal Knights, has delivered great performances in tournaments. Think ahead, play together.
Ball games & athletics
Our learners take part in official government games and PIPSSA games, building skill, sportsmanship and school spirit.
Come and discover what growing together can look like.
We would love to introduce your family to the UCS community.
